Yu Si Liu - A student/musician who toured the Highlands region on bicycle will hold a show at the Café Lounge in Surry Hills - Tuesday 30th November
as a fund-raising event for the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF).

The show also includes guest musicians Art Rush and Sally Hackett; entry to the show is free, with a voluntary collection for the ACF.

Yu Si Liu, an ACF volunteer as well as a singer-songwriter based in Sydney, has organised his cycle tour to promote the spirit of environment conservation, and to support the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF)’s various campaigns such as ‘GreenHome’ and ‘Climate Change’.

With a guitar on his back and some minimal baggage put on his bicycle, Yu Si had ridden from Sydney to Sutton Forest during the 2nd and 3rd of November, and had played a show there at the Sutton Forest Inn on the 4th of November.

Sharing a similar belief with the ACF that more grassroots actions will be needed to help solve the various environmental problems facing us today, Yu Si seeks to encourage people to turn the environmental ideas and education into real actions through this cycle tours.

Yu Si is planning further cycle events to raise $$$ and awareness.

“I’ll feel gratified if these events could in some way motivate people to think or to act,” said Mr Liu “and then come up with more creative solutions to various problems facing us nowadays.”
