We recently had the pleasure of recording the beautiful Lanie Lane during her set at the last Communion event at Melt. The show was amazing enough before Lisa Mitchell and Aleesha Dibbs joined Lanie on stage putting everyones jaw on the floor with this cover of Madonna’s Like a Prayer. I quickly grabbed web cam recording of the set which didn’t come out too clear, but we sync’d a good audio mix up so you get the idea.
If your little confused by the name Communion, its a party which runs weekly in the UK, which also had a brief stint here in Sydney. The night celebrated cutting edge folk bands by sporting amazing line ups each month, including Sherlock’s Daughter, The Seabellys, Pluto Jones and one of our favourites, WIM.
