Starting of feeling like a Nick Drake track, then like Jerry says. it strikes that Angus and Julia Stone spot deep within you. Not only because Julia herself is featured in the song, but its simply a beautiful song.
You can get Melbournes Jez Mead’s album right here. After a quick sample at iTunes we quickly nabbed one up right away. Its a whimsicle pop folk fest which could have been released in 71 or 2011, it’s a bit timeless. We reckon this is what Colin Meloy would be getting up to if he lived in Melbourne and didn’t desire to be a pirate.
