Taking social photography to a whole new level, the whole night will be filmed, revolving around interviews with our guest performers and artists. Each TV Party invites several emerging artist from Sydney's music scene in front of the crowd and camera to do their thing. With local DJs Ben Lucid, Cunningpants and the Neonhearts DJs take to the decks between and after live performances. The first show for 2010 doubles as the official launch for upcoming electro pop outfit Beaufort's feature length film 'Tiger'. With two extended trailer viewings between performances from the following outstanding acts. Headlining this evening is local outfit The Protectors. Their intense and unique live set has won them summer festival spots alongside Cold War Kids, Crystal Castles and The Streets. The Protectors also earned some major supports with the likes of Mercy Arms, The Vasco Era, British India, End Of Fashion, and Wolf & Cub. Now they are playing for us, and we gonna record it. Alter Ego Mania are an indie-rock outfit that deliver pop songs straight to your heart. Alter Ego Mania have been rocking Sydney’s coolest venues since 2008, mixing a turbulent live show with killer hooks that will eternally mark your subconscious. Feel the love. Mushu can make make distortion sound pretty. With a fresh EP on the way we felt its a perfect time to take a snap shot of what these guys are doing. Beaufort contain infectious pop melodies over an uninhibited 80's influence. A book, a movie, an EP on the way, and one of the fattest resume's we have ever seen, where do they stop? Check out some of the interviews they consucted with models in the run up to the launch of their film 'Tiger'.
