Danimals, Fox

Interesting wonderkid Jonti Danilewitz (aka Danimals) has recently stirred up some attention with his unique production skills. Some friends have talked highly of his solo live show, which has now expanded to a quintet, to be honest nothing really hit us until we caught wind of this little diddy. Fox sees the production side taken away from Danimals himself and lends them to Mark Ronson, for a single track this has really payed off if aiming for a much more accessible song, and more of a polished sound.

Thanks Ubbs.

Interesting point, although, I have to say im struggling to hear that comparison? It has a hint of hauntyness about it, but that get stripped very quickly for me. The vocals seem quite Beatles-esque, used in a fun good way.

Don’t fear the reaper gives me images of death and loosing someone and had a huge emotional effect on me when I first discovered it. This is a bit of fun? What makes you think its too much like it?

And their cowbell is on the off beat. :)
