Video – Superb Lyrebird, Red Tape

Almost three years since their debut EP, Superb Lyrebird hit you with a fresh single and video to boot. These guys are a hidden talent within Sydney drawing band members from several different genres and local acts (James McKenna being part of The Neonhearts DJs and electro outfit Alien Zoo, Dave Blues from Self, Wesly Von Grobble from Endusk and Nathan from some hip hop bands I can’t remember right now). They were their influences on their sleeve but can poke your ear out with their hard individual edge.

With a strong underground hard rock blade being sawn through you with the odd falsetto and/or metal edge, this amatuer clip does the song justice, we wait and see in anticipation where these guys go now they seem to have their act together.
