Sydney hip hop outfit 206collab are MCs Flip+Skip and Eno, DJ/Producer JPlatnum and soulful female lyricist Tiff. Since 2002 the 206 crew has cultivated a stylish, jazzy and energetic style of hip hop and a strong, eccentric personality as a crew. Having experienced a 2006 full of milestones, the group's current evolution and creative productivity promise to bear great results in 2007 and beyond.
So what have they got in store for us this 2009??

The Igloo and DJ D*Phy

Sydneysiders The Igloo and DJ D*Phy have teamed up to create The Ruff Craft Mixtape, a concept release doubling as a tribute and ode to one of the worlds most talented and respected hip hop producers hailing from Detroit; the late great James Dewitt Yancey, AKA Jay Dilla. Often dubbed as “your favourite producers favourite producer”, Jay Dee has crafted beats for the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, Common, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul and Slum Village to name a few, along with countless remixes, solo productions and unreleased beat tapes. And they are bringing it all to Sin-e!

One of our favourite MCs pays us another visit. Sonny's smooth smokin' rhymes will get you cruisin' to the music and asking for more....

Our 1st edition of Hip Hop at Sin-e included Nikkita & Class A with DJ Kaputz and Sonny Syah with DJ Shantan Wantan Ichiban....and did it go off or what? We couldn't even move.....If you have no idea what I'm talking about then you can't miss this 2nd edition....

The neonhearts Djs will be watching over the decks from 6pm and $5.50 champagne cocktails....cuz this is a celebration!
