Alien Zoo – Punk is a Lie
Alien Zoo is a multi national operation between the UK and Australia with local singer/song Sam Joole writer on vocals. The songs have an outstanding natural sound albiet its electro offerings.
Ok ok so we sometimes play in this band, however we had nothing to do with the writing of these songs. After rehearsing them and playing in various iterations the final product really surprised us by blowing away our expectations on many levels. Its amazing what a sweet production and writing team can do with a few ideas. After a few shows in the US, Mr Joole is preping for some killer club shows performing live with loads of other local electro cats. But the Ep, its a solid 10 smacks and sure to push your stereos limits at times. Sam’s current line up inlcudes horns, MPC’s and himself on guitars and anyone else willing to get up. Its quite a layered show, not that the kids at the front dancing happen to notice it! With sounds like this they almost forget what they saw.
