Sui Zhen is a young singer / songwriter / composer who has been performing both solo and with her full live band since 2003, supporting the likes of Coco Rosie (USA), Kimya Dawson (USA), The Brunettes (NZ, SubPop), and Malcolm Middleton (of Arab Strap, USA). Her folk-based arrangements are sweet and lyrical, in a voice by turns childish and seductive. Lili returns after hiding under a rock for a few months. Wonder what she'll bring to the Lounge from the cruddy depths of her rocky bed.... Justine Martine's sweet vocals will intrigue you, leaving you wanting just one more bite...definitely one to keep an eye on... As per usual come join the Lounge crew for some soul sounds and $5.50 champagne cocktails....... :D x |
